My method was pretty legit, but was unfair. I had 2 account locations, one at home and one at a my close friend's house. I would use his account to play beginner matches and win them, then have my main one at home send 1v1 game invites to my other account at my friends house and lose on purpose to transfer the points. Losing on purpose keeps my at beginner rank so I always won.
