haha ahhh... The idea usually just comes to me. the plot as a whole. so then i keep that in mind and begin to just write the first chapter. then i go over it again and add more details till i think it's good enough as a first chapter or whatever chapter. Since i write as I go (which is really bad) I tend to change things as I update, for the chapter I have my main points that i want to include and
