Like you said, they don’t want to be separated again. So if there’s "a better way out", wouldn’t they choose that instead of letting Jessica be executed and Yoona all on her own? Now, that would make everything they share together go wasted. Lol Nah, everyone is given the same opportunity in life. The harshness in my life is probably the similar to yours; I just view it differently (:

I think you must have misunderstood the whole point. Mr. Jung didn’t ask Yoona to die on Jessica’s behalf. If you refer to the prologue, it was more of a deal that, if Yoona takes the blame temporarily, he’ll find a way to save her and let them be together.

In regards to the aunts, were you expecting them to spit on Yoona or something? Lol literally speaking btw. Do you really think they’d dare to treat Yoona like trash/lower being when someone as powerful as Mr. Jung has already “accepted” her as his daughter-in-law? No matter what their views on the girl were, they can’t be too obvious about it. That’s as obvious, yet realistic as it can get imo.

I don't do reply directly in the thread so here goes: (1) What happened to the 1600s SooFany would always be a question mark, so you can't jump right into conclusion like that. (2) Higher status gives you power, that still holds true even until this day. I don't think Romeo & Juliet can change that fact either. (3) Meaningful death or not, it's totally up to one's values.
