No, I'm sorry. I've spoken to the other judges. I think it would be fair to other contestants if you created an entirely new story instead of basing it already on one already created.

Uh.. sorry to bother you again, I have another question about the contest. I was thinking of making a One-shot that is based on my story HALF/HALF. Is that okay? I will write it in such away that it's not necessary to read the other story. It's more of of a recollection of a memory within the story.
I'll understand if it's not allowed though.

Your welcome! The others and I are happy to hold such a contest. There is no maximum length in pages or wrods, as long as it all condenses into a one-shot.

Correction to my earlier post: ONE of my stories is at 1.5 pages. The others are about 1 to 2 at the moment.

Hi! Thought I'd stop by and say thank you for creating the JeTidal wave contest. Thanks! Anyway, I was curious. Is there a length maximum? Like pages? I know its a One-shot but they vary in length. I write in Microsoft Word, size 11, 1 inch margins. My stories tend to be longer than most so I'm just making sure I'm not breaking any rules. I'm at like 1.5 pages at the moment so its no big right now
