i bet johnnys is far more rich than SM..
even not going worldwide, they sure have lots more penny to grab with the insanely sales of ARASHI's product..
that's why he always invest his money on ARASHI only

i'm really scared to think about SNSD have to compete with johnnys again for the GEE single.. NYC also release another single that day right..
why is SM so stupid release their single on the same day as Johnnys..
if only before this SNSD Genie debut was on 15th, they could have got 3rd place on the weekly single ranking..

even the not so famous NEWS can reached 200k easily in the 1st week for singles.
their latest album first week sales was 156k while JYJ was just about 130k..
no matter how worldwide they are but when it come to japan they really can't be compared to johnnys..
johnnys popularity in japan is so damn high..
in korea 100k has already considered as very high already right

Yeah I think most agencies would want toma in their company. He's already so popular with all his dramas. But he seems to be contented just being in johnnies. I dunno?

come to think of it I just realised that only moriuchi is the only one that still in ent industries without johnnys.. i don't like him now because he has a very good boy image back then and now he's like so scary..LOL.. but pity him he has the best voice in NEWS but he just like invisible
but what I meant is like toma..
he's undebut but he still successful with his acting career

Yeah, johnny's do have more hand movements that actual dancing most of the times. Johnny's up till now caters mainly to japan only, so that's why it's not as well known as kpop. But honestly look at arashi's sales... Over 500k for some singles. For kpop that's like wooooo! Extremely big number.

Yeps true. But the thing is, with johnny's even when undebuted jrs leave the agency, you seldom see them again in other companies. I don;t know if they have a contract, johnny's holding them back, they ownself given up on the entertainment idustry, etc, but usually once someone leaves johnny's they don't come back in except for Takahiro moriuchi.

for the kpop I admit that they're better in everyhing but that's because they trained harder, and they have good choreography..
look at johnnys.. most of the songs have only a few steps of movement..
they have more hand gestures rather than a real dance.
if only johnnys trained their artists harder just like kpop style I think they could've been bigger..

for me johnnys is better
johnny's help them to get used in entertainment world so that they won't be awkward when they debut and since they have so many experiences they're quite a pro.
for the undebuted jrs, they will get more chances to have another job like acting, modelling, or sign contract with other company since their talent have been recognised

But I find the kpop method produces better results in terms of vocals/dancing etc? I'm not sure. Or it could just be due to the diff. in music/dancing styles. The kpop way might pique more interest though, cos people would want to find out more bout the rumoured members and get to know more about them. lols, in the end I can't really decide. You?

Hmm yeah, when I 1st got into kpop I realised the 2 differences. hmmmmmm... I think johnny's way gives the trainees more exposure? And I think one of the reason why so many johnny's group are that popular would also be because from SC and stuff he can see who are the popular ones and pick them out. The johnny's method also let's us watch them grow since young.

from ur point of view which kinda trained idol do you prefer??
johnny's style with exposing the jrs and trained them to be in front of tv at young age
or
k-pop style with secretly training their idols

Yeah I think the shoon parts are kinda true. Some good talents are overlooked at johnnys.

compared to shoon I like taiyou more..
he's so kawaii!! and he's like super tall!!
wonder how tall is he now..
after ya-ya-yah disbanded, he left johnnys and no news about him at all..
also another jr that I like.. its jimmy mackey!!
he's so handsome and so charming!!
