My Introductory to K-Pop:
I was never really interested in K-Pop until late 2008 (shame on me, i know -__-)
I was always around Korean music and culture though, me being a Korean.
My cousins used to play K-Pop all the time.
One of them even showed me music videos and burned me a CD filled with old-school songs.
At the time, they were modern and recent. I listened to it in my old-butt CD player without even knowing the song names or artists.
After getting involved with K-pop, I now know that the songs I listened to were
BoA - Valenti, Fly to the Sky - Missing You, SMTown - Summer Time, 1TYM - Hot, etc.
Then starting in 2008, my parents started renting Star King videos from Korean marts (lol)
and my interest peaked. I remember my first K-Pop love was FT Island's Lee Hongki.
Ever since then, YouTube has been my holy grail.

My Introductory to Girls' Generation:
Somewhere in early 2008, my best friend showed me videos of
Girls' Generation's "Girls' Generation" and "Into the New World".
I remember thinking, "Wow. All these girls are super pretty."
But at the time, I was obsessed with J-Pop and completely forgot about them.
Reflecting now, how in the sam heck did I have disregarded them like nothing?!
Then Star King happened, and Wonder Girl's "Tell Me" happened, and etc.
and I ended stumbling across Girls' Generation's Girls' Generation again.
Trust me, this time, I did not make the same mistake. I moved on to "Kissing You".
However, my fascination with them did not really jump start until the "Gee" era.
That's when I started watching variety shows with Girls' Generation in them and
began to memorize their names (man, differentiating Yuri and Yoona was a pain in the butt).
Then I heard about their comeback with "Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)" and
I saw the concept photos and SM started releasing teaser videos and snippets of the song
and the S♡NE inside me was awakened.
All of a sudden, I had this unexplainable obsession and love for them.
I didn't even know it happened until I stayed up til 3 in the morning
watching Girls' Generation videos when I was supposed to be doing my homework.
And that's where I am today.

My Favorite Members:
My favorite member used to be Tiffany.
While my best friend and I were watching "Girls Generation"'s music video,
I told her that Tiffany was REALLY pretty (at that time, I didn't know their names).
I guess she just assumed she was my favorite member because of that and she just sort of became my bias.
But ask I got more into Girls' Generation,
I started to realize Jessica's ice-cold beauty and Taeyeon's ahjumma-like dorkiness.
So now, my Top 3 are Taeyeon, Jessica, and Tiffany in no particular order
But I love all 9 members for their individual charm and traits :]

I am SM-biased so YG and JYP, GTFO! (lolololol, jk jk. the troll in me just got out of control. i love you Big Bang, 2NE1, 2pm <3)
