About Me

I think my story is interesting, I always tell it to people how I got into SNSD since I display it so publicly. I got into SNSD because I was first interested in the Wonder Girls. I was watching on YouTube the Wonder Girls covering SNSD's "Kissing You", and in the related videos section I saw SNSD covering Wonder Girls' "Tell Me". Of course I was curious so I watched it, and at first I didn't like it because well, I like the Wonder Girls more. I kind of disregarded SNSD because I was so bias with the Wonder Girls because I was a fan of them more. It was at that point that I learned the existence of anti-fans, fan clubs, fan wars, etc. Which was both frustrating, irritating, annoying, and just plain stupid. Then came along Gee, which was introduced from my brother by showing me the music video. At first I found it annoying because of the repetition, but of course it started getting into my head (and why wouldn't it!). I watched the music video several times in an attempt to get it out of my head, but the Soshi virus already infected me. So it lead to me more SNSD related videos. I eventually reached their reality shows, variety show, interviews, other music videos. After seeing them being so human, just being themselves, I have learned to respect SNSD, and eventually became a fan and love them. From that point on I became a S♥NE. I'm a Soshi convert! I became so much of a fan that I know the dance moves to Gee, went to SM Town 2010 concert in L.A. Staples Center (floor tickets - THANK YOU SOSHIFIED!), attended the Soshified Fan Meet-Up in Los Angeles, and just publicly expressing my fandom towards SNSD. You should see my facebook picture:)
SNSD stuff I have: Soshified Fan Towel, Soshified Heart-Shaped Pillow, Soshified Lightstick, Soshified T-Shirt, Soshified Wristband, Lanyard, Cell Phone Charm, "I ♥ SNSD" pin, Fanmade SNSD cheer sign, Posters, Calendar, Notebook Folder, Computer Wallpaper, Computer Screensaver, PlayStation 3 Wallpaper, "Gee" ringtone...more to come Posted Image

It was because of SNSD that it lead me to K-pop. It was because of SNSD that I learn to appreciate and respect other K-pop artists. Just as Tiffany mentioned in interviews and press conferences of SM Town L.A., the great thing about music is that it is a universal language. And although it was because of the Wonder Girls that I found SNSD, I just love and appreciate the fact that it is just the ideal of kpop - the spreading of their music, that lead me to SNSD. I am optimistic that a world where there are no anti-fans and no fan wars exist. It is happening now. I watch some variety show specials, and overall, K-pop artists respect and like one another. I am glad that SNSD is in good terms with Wonder Girls, KARA, and 2NE1 (My favorites!)

I dream of seeing Girls Generation take over the world (just like the Spice Girls, yea, I needed an analogy. Move over Girl Power, Right now it's Girls' Generation!). I hope to see Girls Generation, or any Korean artist in general, reach the global stage so that Kpop will be more known.

My only regret about Girls' Generation is that I wish I knew about them sooner.

S♥NE! 소원

지금은 소녀시대

앞으로도 소녀시대

영원히 소녀시대

사랑해요 소녀시대

Long live and God bless Girls'

Generation.
