On February 12th, Girls’ Generation received two awards at the “3rd Gaon K-Pop Chart Awards”, hosted by Yuri and Oh Sangjin. Girls’ Generation won the “Digital Award” for the month of January for “I Got A Boy” and “Album of the Year” for the first quarter of 2013.
The award show began with a red carpet event, which Yuri appeared for in a red dress with her co-host. The eight remaining members of Girls’ Generation also walked the red carpet in their outfits for “I Got A Boy”. Photos of Girls’ Generation members on the red carpet may be seen below. Afterwards, Girls’ Generation received the “Album of the Year” award for the first quarter of 2013. Seven of the members were on hand to accept the award and give their thanks to fans, as Taeyeon was forced to leave early to perform at the “S.M. the Ballad Vol. 2 Joint Recital“, and Sooyoung left to host SBS’s “Midnight TV Entertainment”.

well i’m sure if SooTae didn’t have other schedule to attend to, they would’ve been last to perform. lovely to see our girls pick up another 2 awards for IGAB. 2013 was indeed a lovely successful year and now here they are going for more gold in 2014. Mr. Mr. is going to be awesome. i also found out from a Sone that their choreography is from a different choreographer. i see SM finally broadening their choreography styles for their groups especially for our girls. i love Rino and Jae but to me it seem that it was time to look elsewhere for different styles of moves and fresh talent apart from their usual regular main choreographers. can’t wait to see how this choreo goes. lawd i pray one day SM will let them work with the Essenceladies (Gigi Torres and April Rodriquez).
Could you please remind me of a year that is not lovely and successful? ;)
