“Gee” recently surpassed 100 million views on YouTube. Famous for both Girls’ Generation’s bright and colorful outfits, as well as the simple outfits with white shirts and skinny jeans, this catchy tune with an irresistible hook helped propel the girls to stardom. This latest milestone makes “Gee” the third most viewed K-Pop music video on YouTube, after PSY’s “Gangnam Style” and Hyuna’s “Oppa You’re My Style”.

Released in 2009, “Gee” is now the first Girls’ Generation music video to reach 100 million views. The dance version of “MR. TAXI” has acquired almost 74 million, the Korean version of “The Boys” is at over 70 million, and the Korean version of “Oh!” has garnered nearly 64 million views. “I Got A Boy“, the girls’ latest music video release, is around 200,000 shy of the 50-million-view milestone.

Be sure to (re)watch the iconic 2009 music video below, and congratulate the girls for this latest achievement.
