I'm Chinese - Canadian born and can speak Cantonese fluently.
If you asked me who my favourite SNSD member is, I would without a doubt say Taeyeon. She will never fail to put a smile on my face.
My S♥NE story starts with me dropping off my friend at his house. Most of the times he'd invite me in and once inside he'd overwhelm me with SNSD. At the time, it was the mainly the Genie and Gee MV. It would then lead to which members I liked and...u get the picture.
At the time I detested girl groups because it would make me think about Spice Girls and my barrier was still strong against that kind of thing but I didn't drop him off just once. There was a 2nd, 3rd and eventually I went home one night and downloaded their best songs recommended by that same friend. I couldn't stop listening to those songs and after watching Hello Baby I was basically "Forever9" as of December 2009.
Craziest thing Edox and I have done in the name of SNSD. We plan to do it again keke.
