In 2014, out of boredom, I set out to see if this one girl group called Girls' Generation was as good as they say. So I put on one song... and then another... and then another. Within the hour, I was completely hooked. That's how I became a fan during the Divine era.

Not long later 0930 happened. It was the darkest hour-thousands of loyal Sones turned away; war broke out and still rages on between GorJessers and remaining OT9 fans. The Soshi bond was deemed as fake, worthless. However, as much as it hurt us, it is my humble opinion that it was not the Sones who felt the pain worst-it was Soshi and Jessica, who referred to them as 'sisters'. 

Think about it. They were with each other on and off stage for 7 years- even though Jessica moved out later on. Many memories, bitter and sweet, were shared between them on screen; countless more in private. To be handed a blow that one of them was to be removed at sudden notice would have been a great blow to anyone, how much more all 9 of them. No wonder they cried in Shenzhen. Seohyun could not hold back her tears while singing her beloved unnie's part in Complete.

I saw this signature on one of our profiles "Remember the Nine." And that is what I will do. I was not there from the start, but I will continue on, God willing, to the end of their careers, individual or corporate. I will also try and help cheer on all other Sones who are still hurting and who need a comforting comment, a cheerful tweet or a helping hand. To all my fellow Wishbearers-I've got your back.
