Hello! My name is Kristine and I'm just another Filipino girl loving K-Pop in the US. xD

I got into K-Pop around late 2010/early 2011. My first K-Pop song was actually Gee and I started listening to SNSD's other songs such as Run Devil Run and Hoot. I really liked them so they really got me familiar with K-Pop.

But I never really paid attention to them until now. I only listened to their songs, watched their MVs, and watched their performances during The Boys promotions. They never caught my eye because my favorite girl group is 2NE1. It was only recently, during the promotions for I Got a Boy, that I really started to get interested in them.

I read a fan talking about Jessica's personality on Tumblr and I really admired her. But when I read about Tiffany's backstory, that's when my love for the girls really started. I instantly loved and admired Tiffany because she came to Korea by herself to pursue her dream of becoming a singer even if her dad objected it. That took a lot of courage and I must say she, along with the other girls, have come a long way.

In a way I'm sort of in her situation. I wanna pursue a career in music (whether it be a composer, musician, or even an idol) but my dad has objections as well. Right now I'm really scared of the future and I'm struggling as to how I'll achieve my dreams, but Tiffany gave me the tiniest bit of courage and hope. I'm still unsure as to what I'll do in the future, but as long as SNSD is around I believe they'll give me the courage I need. 

I really admire (I say that word a lot because that is how I feel about them xD) the nine girls and how far they have come starting from Into the New World to I Got a Boy. 2NE1 will always be my favorite girl group but SoShi will always be my close second!
