This is my favorite SNSD song, and I just wanted to offer my comments about the English translation.

 

I think this line:

소원을 말해요 내가 들어줄게

("Tell me your wish, I will make it come true")

 

literally translates to:

"Tell me your wish. I will listen."

 

I think the English for this line:

매일 밤 혼자 기도만 하지 말고

 

("Don't just pray every night at home by yourself")

 

is awkward.

 

It could be better translated as:

"Don't just pray alone every night"

 

I don't see a reference to "at home" in the Hangul.
