However sometimes I really wonder how busy an idol is. (Not directing at SNSD, meant in general)
I think connecting with the fans is important, since without fans an idol is nothing, and they should at least spend a little time to drop by, say hi, write some stuff on their fan websites?
I mean like 20mins a week is not too much right? I'm sure they can dig that time out.

Perhaps the management doesn't allow that.

If I every become an idol (in my dreams!), I'll definitely visit my fan website, write messages and connect with them like friends cause I know just a simple message can make a fan very happy.

That was sweet and thoughtful of her! Nothing beats to have your idol wrote something about you. Fans must be so happy to received a long letter like that. I am happy that they do care about their fans enough to read all the letters and what more if they can give back a note.
