Korean is actually fairly easy to learn, a couple friends of mine are actually self-taught. If you're really interested in the language, you can always pick up a book teaching you the language. Just check in now and then with a fluent speaker to make sure you're saying things correctly! I'm really happy to hear Illinois is cold. I'm more of a cold-weather person, so that works perfectly for me~
