hmm..well,the biggest diff from uk is of course the weather..there is no seasons here..i really want to see snow!!haha..there are some interesting places..actually you can see other countries landmark in the visualdream contest thread..with pics from all around the world..have you been there?the link is at the top of the home page..

my story is kind of similar with you,i first heard the name girls' generation in 2009 but not becoming a fan..i just become a fan during their oh! and rdr..the first member i knew was yuri,through sgb and iy..

Well my friend intorduced me to them 2 years ago but I didnt really get into them, but then a few weeks ago I listened to Mr. Taxi and fell in love with the song then did abit of research on them and then fell in love with them too :)
