Hi! I hope I'm not bothering you. I've been messaging my favorite authors to encourage them to make a fic contribution and one or two have aired their feelings that readers seem unappreciative as shown by lack of comments. Mention was made also of the fact that the same story would garner pages of comments if posted on the writers' own pages. I replied based on my experience.
