Bahah, couldn't say it is proper because when I looked back at my writings, I found tons of grammar mistakes, but I was too lazy to fix them.

Thanks! =) Seriously got confused at what you said, but let's just say that the better writers are on livejournal, haha. I'm thinking why ssf has so much horrible fanfics (no offense) is because English is not the author's first language, they have bad spelling and/or grammar, or little kids are writing....

I know right.. I think it's because the fanfics have to be filtered first before posting..and the best parts have to be edited.. Sigh..

I would spend hours going through fanfics just to find a few good ones... I failed in the end..
That's why I only depend on recommendations or stick to a few authors that I like..

It's true. Either they're on hiatus, they're not popular enough and their fics keeps getting pushed back or people just don't take the time to appreciate a good piece of writing.
