Hey, sorry I am taking this long to finish. >.<
I am somewhat stuck somewhere around 75% with my second SoShi Pirates shot. So, I sorta left it alone after trying to force it for a week or so (results weren't pretty, had to delete entire passages).
I might have regained my groove though. =/
Lets hope it stays around longer. ;)

Don't stress much on it.
if you haven't really given much detail on setting, just gradually build as you write each shot. There the readers, through time, slowly become familiarized with the world you want to show them. :]

I am very harsh on my own stuff.. >.< And even then.. Sigh..
I plan on turning this into a Jungle Book style collection of 1 shots in the same world. But I did nearly zero world building in the one I just wrote, so I will need to write an epic A/N to accompany it. =/
