I guess ur secondary school was similar to mine. only certain schools to afford to teach other languages. i wonder why arabic and french? id figure that they would teach others asian languages, but guess not lol. are u in a uni? yeah. they do have more classes to teach which is nice so u should take some language classes at the uni!! ^^

nope, only english i guess? -_____- but in form one- form 3 [secodary school, ] there are options student can make [but not that much] they can take arabic or french class...[only this two languages are available in my school -____- dont know why...] the others are just like agriculture,design,homesci...and blablabla~ in university..there's more options...

I know what you mean by learning phrases thru asian dramas! Thats really where i learned most languages and thru music like the song titles. talking about languages, ur english is cute :D

Yup!every state here have their own dialects..not just enough of that..in some village they also have two main language..maybe people called it ..emm..local language?known by "Jawa"and "Banjar"..owh..u learn some phrase?i learned that too..ah u know sometimes when we watch asian drama..there always be some popular phrase..i juz learn that only...haha..^__^

yeah! languages are just one of those things that ppl can learn and not really regret :D I tried to learn spanish back when i was in middle school. yeah...dont remember much from those days or that language. didnt really have an interest either. sad they didnt have like japanese or chinese. wouldve been more interested in those if they did. are you all required to take another language during

thats good that ur going to attend a uni!!! congrats when u get accepted! u'll have fun! hopefully. i didnt really learn many languages just some words or phrases, that's all. i havent found anyone to practice with so the only thing i really remember are these phrases lol. so there are different dialects of malay? sounds like chinese lol.
