The place is actually mostly the university, so the people there are students or faculty staff. The city of Palo Alto is a short drive away if want to go to shop or eat. The climate in California, it's quite nice there. I liked it there.
You've been to the US, so where and how was it? :)

In Singapore, there's some unique food that I've never seen elsewhere. I've tried many of Singapore's local food dishes and they're great. Also, food is more affordable in Singapore. It's true that Singapore's famous for food.
As for shopping, I was still quite young, I wasn't a shopper yet when I lved in the US, so I don't know very much about shopping there.

Hi!
I stayed in a house in Stanford, CA. And I did get to go. For the food there, my parent usually brought me to Asian restaurants, didn't like American food for some reason, though I find it ok. So I grew up eating various Asian food like Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, etc. I got to eat food from so many countries there.

Er hahaha well the place I stayed was kinda quiet ... In SG you get around easily but after living here for a while you kinda have seen it all:) cos it's so SMALLXD in HK the flea markets are like super cheap!!! Hahaha>< what kind of TV shows do you watch??? Besides Kpop I mean:P another thing I dislike about SG is that when US has telecasted season 6 of one show, SG would still be showing s1

Hi!
Well, I was born in Singapore. Then, when I was 3 I moved to live in the US because my parent had a job. I learnt English there and made some friends at my preschool. I had some happy memories, life is quite different there. Later, I came back to Singapore to start school. And I've been in Singapore since. :)

In Singapore it's so SMALL!!!! the amusement parks are boring.... The only new one is Universal studios... And the one in LA and Orlando is SO much better:( uhh the shopping here is like a mix of both... Except HK is much cheaper.. But there are alot of shopping malls with aircon^^ And the arcade games are extremely limited:( Erm the house had a nice view:P hahaha
