I've asked a couple people about USA system, and I think I got it, it's interesting for me cause your system is so flexible and free, which I think is better than the one we have here ): I'd like to learn more about it

Poor pilona, haha. At least you have things figure out now! ^_^
My schools didn't have that. We had certain classes we had to take, then there were just a bunch of miscellaneous electives we chose from. xD Some requirements for high school were four years of English, three years of mathematics, two years of science, &c.

Hehe, good choice, then! At least you aren't completely stuck if you choose one, at least at first. It seems like it could be stressful, especially for people who aren't exactly sure what they want to do! :O

Pretty much! In my school, there was cases of people that chose math for a year and next year, they went for spanish-history! And there's always people that change their class after a month passes. It was so stressful xD I was about to choose math! But I ended up choosing biochem instead (: And now, biochem is my major, so I guess I made the right call lol

So you're pretty much stuck in a field once you start it? What if you end up not liking it? Does that happen often?

Yup! I kinda like it, because of specialization part, but I wish I had the chance to have an extra class, like adv spanish or math too. Some schools here make their students choose! Like, they can choose adv math and adv chemistry, instead of just choosing an area and getting the math-physics, bio-chem, spanish-history combination right away

That's interesting~ I guess that kind of system has its ups and downs! I wish our schooling here was a little more specialized. We have to take a lot of courses that aren't relevant to us at all, and sometimes several years in a row. :( They should implement a system that is a mix of yours and mine! That way students can get a bit of everything but still be able to specialize! :D
