It is actually VERY easy.
If you play a power chord and place the side of your hand on the bridge at the same time your basically palm muting.
Pretty simple but is probably one of the most used techniques EVARRRR....

I wish I could do guitar techniques that you have mentioned before..I ever read a book and I found an explanation about palm mute there..I read it and it seemed so easy to do...but unfortunately I couldn't do that up to now...=p ( theory is easier than practice..^^')
maybe you can teach me someday...^0^

It's one of those progressive metal riffs.
It's based around the harmonic minor scale and basically follows the "palm mute, lick or riff, palm mute, lick or riff etc" Then it starts getting kinda heavy after the last riff.

I'm planning on just getting a 200$ recording device that you use woth a computer but my computer can't record sound properly. The ending product always sounds like it's 10% of the actually volume.
