On November 19th, it was revealed that Taeyeon received a “Top 10 Artist Award” at the “2016 MelOn Music Awards”. Girls’ Generation as a group won the same award at last year’s show.

Unfortunately, Taeyeon was unable to attend the ceremony, but she did record a short message ahead of time to thank SONEs for their support. Her video can be seen below.
