On September 19th, Girls’ Generation won first place on MBC’s “Show! Music Core” with “Lion Heart”. This was the second win for “Lion Heart” on “Show! Music Core”, the first having come on August 29th. “Show! Music Core” has not had a winner on its program for the past two weeks due to special concerts. Unfortunately, Girls’ Generation was not present at today’s show to receive the trophy, having concluded promotions earlier this week. Sunny, however, quickly posted on her Twitter account after the win, expressing her gratitude.

Girls’ Generation’s latest win with “Lion Heart” is the fourteenth overall across all music shows. This is the 100th win of Girls’ Generation’s career throughout Korea’s weekly music programs, with first place trophies from “Music Bank”, “Inkigayo”, “M! Countdown”, “Show! Music Core”, “The Show”, “Show Champion”, and “Mnet Music Triangle”. Songs that have taken first place include “Into The New World”, “Girls’ Generation”, “Baby Baby”, “Gee”, “Gee”, “Gee”, “Tell Me Your With”, “Oh!”, “Run Devil Run”, “Hoot”, “The Boys”, “I Got A Boy”, “Mr.Mr.”, “PARTY”, and “Lion Heart”.

i’m so bloody proud of our ladies. way to go Sone and everyone else that’s streaming the song daily. i seriously wasn’t expecting them to continue winning after their junior group came out red hot with their single knocking the competition out of the #1 spot. i’m very please to see our ladies still got the power to dominate on music shows. You almost have to feel sorry for RV, they can win as long as they aren’t competing against the Sunbae’s from their own agency! Of course the good news is that despite the turmoil of 2014, Sones still love an 8 member SNSD!
SM might’ve thought that ending the promotion would give the chance for RV to get the spotlight right after. Well, they did but the thing is soshi has an army of SONE who wouldn’t stop voting even if the girls are done with the promotion
I’m a fan of RV too but yes, just like others said, guess they came back too early.. Maybe a couple week after soshi’s end of promotion would be the best time for their comeback
Yeah, but maybe SM needs to hurry because if rumours are true, after Red Velvet there is the f(x) comeback, then Taeyeon solo debut, then Tiffany solo debut, and finally SNSD-TTS comeback. That’s a lot in only 3 1/2 months.
I kinda doubt there will be time for rumored Tiffany solo debut and TTS new album in the remaining 2015.
If I was SM, I wouldn’t scrammed so much in just 3 1/2 months. Like at least, TTS should be moved to 2016, and maybe Tiffany to early 2016? It’s just too full and too much, even for fans, let alone general public. The potential couldn’t optimized. Like right now for example, SNSD had already ended the promotion but they still won the music shows, and unfortunately as a result it made RV didn’t make a clean sweep. Of course it wasn’t definite, but the chance of it at least is bigger.

I think “Dumb Dumb” refers to SM decision to end the “Lion Heart” promotions and bring Red Velvet back to early… Poor Red Velvet.

Yup! But you can’t really compare Lion Heart and Gee cos back then there were less music show awards per week. :/
