Girls’ Generation’s fifth album, “Lion Heart”, achieved first place on Billboard’s “World Albums” chart for the week of September 5th. The chart, according to Billboard, catalogs the “top-selling world music albums, ranked by sales data as compiled by Nielsen Music.”

Girls’ Generation has previously done well on the chart, grabbing second place with 2011’s “The Boys“. They also topped the chart with their 2013 release of “I Got a Boy“. In addition, Girls’ Generation – TTS’s second mini-album, “Holler“, managed to debut in the first place spot in 2014.
