On August 2nd, Avex Group released a trailer for the Japanese edition of the upcoming concert documentary, “SMTOWN THE STAGE”. The movie, SMTOWN’s first concert film since 2012’s “I AM.”, presents performances from the 2014 SMTOWN concerts in Seoul, Shanghai, and Tokyo. The film also includes new rehearsal, interview, and behind-the-scenes footage.
Girls’ Generation will star in the documentary, alongside nine fellow S.M. Entertainment artists. In addition to Girls’ Generation performance snapshots, the film’s new teaser trailer also includes short interview clips with Tiffany and Seohyun. The Japanese version of the movie is set to be released on August 29th, following the film’s release in South Korea on August 13th. Check out the latest trailer below.

I see in the trailer a shot of all nine members. This was a tough period of for both SM and GG. I hope if they have a full concert with this, like they did with “I Am” it will be the Seoul concert which featured the nine members including Jessica. All the other concert were done after Jessica left. I do believe that Seoul SM TOWN concert was Jessica’s final concert. After not having Jessica at the Tokyo Dome concert this could be a nice bit of compensation for those of us that still want to see final concert with her.
