Q. It is the second time to try musical after ‘Moon Embracing the Sun’. It seems like you have fallen in love with the musical.

“I am the Seohyun of ‘GIRLS’ GENERATION’ when I go up on the stage as a singer. However I turn into a different person when I go up on the musical stage. It is very attractive being a different person and experiencing that person’s life indirectly.”

Q. ‘Gone with the Wind’ is very famous for the novel and the movie also. Besides, this musical is the premiere of Asia, isn’t it?

“I could not believe that I was casted for this masterpiece as a main character. I worried first. However I actually wanted to fulfill the expectations of who picked me and believed me. Also I had acquisitiveness to show various characters of me to the fans.”

Q. Any similar points of Scarlett O’Hara and Seohyun?

“Actually Scarlett is bit different to my real personality but I sympathized a lot to her life. The features of not being agitated by other people’s views and overcoming those parts by believing in herself were similar to me.”

Q. You have been double-casted with Bada for the character of ‘Scarlett O’Hara’.

“Bada was on top already when I was dreaming about being a singer. Therefore it was an honor to play with her in a same performance. We discuss about the character together when we have time and it really helps a lot.”

Q. The reason why we should watch ‘Gone with the Wind’?

“It is the masterpiece which everyone can get touched and have lingering feelings. With family, with lover, and with children, it is a global masterpiece that would be great whoever you watch it with.”
