This past weekend, on October 4th and 5th, Girls’ Generation performed at “SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR IV” in Tokyo, the second stop in S.M. Entertainment’s world tour. Despite the rainy weather, the show still went on with the girls bringing their best for their fans. The concert’s setlist, including special stages and collaborations between the artists, was similar to the Seoul concert, with an emphasis on Girls’ Generation’s Japanese releases. Girls’ Generation – TTS also performed “Holler” for the first time on tour. Sooyoung was not present for either day due to prior commitments filming for her drama, “Springtime of My Life”. During the concerts, scenes from Girls’ Generation’s unreleased version of the “DIVINE” music video were also shown.
S.M. Entertainment also posted a number of pictures from the concerts on its SMTOWN NOW pages. View the photos below as well as other pictures from the events in Soshified’s Photos Section. Also check out footage of the concerts provided by Japanese news programs below. The next stop for “SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR IV” will be in Shanghai, China on October 18th.

where is divine
From what I have seen, they did pretty good. They’ve gone on stage with 7 before and this, really, wasn’t all that different.
Really different without Sica. I swore before that i will leave SNSD fandom if SNSD lose 1 of the member, because i was too confident that SNSD will stay 9 forever. I still cant believe this to happen. Now i will leave SNSD fandom for good. But i will still support them deep inside my heart :D
Bye
good bye
Great Effort Ladies. Making lots of fans happy with live performance. SOSHI7 are beautiful. I miss SY and SICA tho
The did 7 before. Have they ever gone below 7 members?
Yup! They’ve done a 5 members performance before. They did Oh and Gee with 4 of them missing.
lol Wow just saw that performance, even with 5 it felt natural… and rushed :p
as the other said, wouldn’t ever be the same without Sica. Her nasals voice is irreplaceble. *sorry still cant move on.
but still wants to be their big supporter though.
The Girls’ have Always been Amazing, regardless of the circumstances :).
Here’s wishing the 8 Lovely Soshi ladies and Jessica All The Very Best in their future endeavours.
I will Forever be a supporter of the 9 members of SNSD :D.
Soshi Daebak! Cheers!
Kenneth.

Despite Jessica’s departure I thought the girls did pretty well, considering that Sooyoung wasn’t there either they pulled off day 1 and 2 . I also thought it was nice to see Yoona and Yuri getting to cover some parts, as normally the main singing line is in charge of that, I wonder if they’ll be permanently covering those lines.
Yes, it’s not the same wiyhout Jessica… Yes, it felt weird not seeing them as OT9. But, will it stop me from watching and supporting their performance? No.
Not the same without sica..
Its not right without all 9, I still love them though
I am still and will always be, a SNSD fan. i’m proud to be one, and proud to see the girls’ achievement and attitude;
especially Tiffany, seeing her worked so hard in preparation for Holler album, all those blood and sweat, she’s an amazing visual director. <3
i am just as sad that they are no longer 9.
but if the girls choose to continue, let’s support them :)
지금은 소녀시대
앞으로도 소녀시대
영원히 소녀시대
Not the same without Jessica. All the other Kpop groups are happy now because they have a chance to get some attention because GG is under-manned, or under-womanned.
I think many of the agencies will look at this as an opportunity to dethrone “Queen of Kpop” and make their girlgroup the new one
@Kwaising Really now? well let them enjoy the moment now while our girls are coping because next promotion cycle i believe we’re still going to see the power of Soshi/Sones. Sica gone doesn’t mean the end of this power group. Sones who are hanging on aren’t going to let this Legendary group go down like that. i can’t wait to see what Soshi have next to show to Sones. i’m on board no matter. Soshi are going to show them then too how strong they are even when they were down. BRING IT ON! the only thing i hope and pray for is that Sica make a final surprise appearance on stage at the Tokyo Dome so that the dream/goal be completed. i think that would be a lovely ending for OT9. anyway i hope for good things for Sica and for the rest of Soshi.
thanks SSF for updates ♥♥♥
I think it is going to be tough on them until they can release a new album. Best of luck girls! And if you can magically get Jessica back for the Tokyo Dome concert I’ll buy two copies (minimum) of your your future album(s)!
Adorei!Minhas Lindas!Amo guys!
