On March 16th, Girls’ Generation continued promotions for “Mr.Mr.” on SBS’s “Inkigayo”. The group dressed in pink suits for tonight’s performance and showed off the usual flawless choreography.
Girls’ Generation also placed second for the ranking on this week’s show, with girl group 2NE1 taking first place.
Promotions for “Mr.Mr.” will continue on March 20th, next week, at Mnet’s “M! Countdown”. Girls’ Generation will also hold a fansign event later today at Cheonggyecheon in Seoul. Check out tonight’s performance of “Mr.Mr.” below.

lawd have mercy 3 yrs ago i would’ve gone insane and start to be affected by negative comments toward Soshi and i would’ve been commenting back(cursing out), but now psh i’m laid back and just ignore and let them mouth-off. 6 wins already for this song that many thinks isn’t a good song and it’s still holding it’s own. yep that’s the power of Soshi and Sone and those random peeps. only 1 lost so far, there’s still MuBank, Show Champion and Mnet to look forward to. Sone are going to try and get those triple crown and hopefully more than 3 on MB(since that show allows as many as possible). even if our girls doesn’t cap another win, that still won’t change my deep love and respect i have for this group. so Sone like Soo said “girls will work harder”, that means we have to work harder too. keep ya head up high. btw ladies are looking lovely in those pink suits. ♥_♥

If I were the little girl I was five years ago, I would get so workup over anyone who speaks negatively toward the girl. But I guess time comes with maturity. I’ve learned that such pity matter like the one mention above should be disregarded. When someone isn’t too fond of a group, they would find every possible way to give the group a hard time. No amount of logical reasoning would change their mind. Talking down on a group to let their bias group shine can be one of the case scenerios.
Nonetheless, let’s keep supporting the girls.

when I read those articles or saw comment that showing bad comment, It makes me feel upset. Sones all over the world must be united. IT’s only for our favorite girls :)

I don’t think anyone loses. It’s a good thing that people find happiness in music, from various sources. No need for competitions/wars/things along that line. Seriously.
Diny, I whole heartedly agree. The Korean music scene is so very different from ours in the west. I guess K-pop is more like professional sports here in America, where rivalries develop between teams and their fans. In the west, there is more than enough fame and money to go around that musical artist and their fans don’t have to fight over it. And first rate musicians/musical acts in the west are not in competitive shows. Now music fans in the west will still argue over who is better, but that is a matter of personal preference, and the bands/artist have to be in the same category to even be compared.
GG and 2NE1 are two totally different styles of music and really can not be compared. It would be like comparing Brittney Spears to Metallica…and believe it or not, people can actually like both styles. As an elder Sone, I’m too old for rap and don’t care for that style. I do like the way K-pop has incorporated it into their pop music in small bits of their songs. This is why I love groups like GG, Shinee and Nu’Est. I do not care for the predominantly rap groups like 2NE1 and Big Bang.
To be honest, I don’t think GG needs the competitive shows to do well. They are the most popular K-pop group in the world. They could put out an new album, do a few live specials on Korean TV, then go out and really tour the world. When you can sell out shows in Europe, Australia, Asia and America, are the competitive shows really any kind of big deal? I’m sure they are in South Korea, but these girls are much bigger than South Korea. South Korea is a tiny country…we have states in America that dwarf Korea…and we have 50 states!! At this point, GG is making waves in the west without any promotions or an English album. After the success of Mr. Mr., I think it is time of SM to unleash a full Soshi tsunami on the rest of the world.
