On January 16th, Taeyeon and Tiffany will host the second half of the “28th Golden Disk Awards”, in which Girls’ Generation has been nominated in three categories: Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and the Popularity Award.
The awards ceremony will be held in the Grand Peace Palace at Kyung Hee University on January 16th, 2014, from 5:00 PM to 8:50 PM KST. Winners of the awards will be decided based on voting, album sales, and judges’ opinions.

I wonder if the girls will be performing in only one part of the event. and I wonder when the 2nd part starts. I hope the girls get all the awards they could get and also wish Yoona performs with the others this time, since this is a big event, unlike the 3 end-of-year music festivals all of which Yoona missed.

“Artists who shone the brightest in 2013 have been called to arms. Names in the hat include Girls’ Generation, Infinite, EXO, Beast, CNBlue, B1A4, SHINee, Sistar, 2NE1, 4Minute, Davichi, A Pink, Roy Kim and Crayon Pop.
According to a representative, the idol stars won’t just be singing their own songs, they’ll also be performing some of the greatest GDA Daesang songs of all time. Legendary rock band Deulgukhwa will receive the Executive Committee Special Award. Deulgukhwa vocalist Jeon In Kwon will be taking part in the GDA performances.”
