After receiving her first leading role in a drama earlier this year for “Passionate Love”, Seohyun will now be making her musical debut in “Moon That Embraces the Sun”. Seohyun has been cast for the musical’s female lead and will play the role of Yeonwoo. Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, Seohyun’s labelmate from SM Entertainment, has also been cast in the musical and will be playing the male lead role, King Lee Hwon. The musical will begin in January of next year.
“Moon That Embraces the Sun” was recently adapted as a drama last year in 2012. Starring Kim Soohyun as King Lee Hwon and Han Ga-in as Yeonwoo, the 20-episode historical drama proved to be extremely popular and won multiple awards.

This is really nice for Seohyun. She once said she was a bit jealous of Taeyeon who got cast in a musical.
And we can expect several Seokyu shippers going crazy over this, although I am a shipper of nothing at all.
And Taeyeon also said she was jealous of Seohyun because of WGM ;-)
