I wonder why TASTY is there too, isn’t SMTown always just SM Artists? Since it’s the SM family? I’m pretty sure they are from a different company, wonder why they are part of SMtown tour too? Hm.. any guesses?
It’s because of the Woollim-SM C&C merge.
I find it odd they stretch out tour’s like this. American’s do it like one day to a week apart the last concert and Koreans do it months in between each concert, not including the two nights in one place deals. Guess it makes it less work to exhaust the idols and longer spanned. I completely forgot about the SM Tour still going it’s been so long since the last one. Lol
Unlike American singers, Korean idol singers have other commitments like drama, DJ (Super Junior folks), and Variety shows and others..like CFs. and performance events at various festivals..etc..
and for SMTOWN which involves so many different groups, trying to sync their free time together isnt easy, since various groups have members doing solo activites..
that’s why east is the east.. and west is the west (and they will never meet). Different cultures.. different ways of doing things. In comparison, American idols don’t crank out as much music per year. Whether it be a mini album, single, or full album… Korean idols are always releasesing something. For US artists it’s common for them to take 3-5 years to follow up on a new album. And like someone else mentioned.. Korean artists do other things with their time like K-dramas, CFs, etc. ^^
They are definitely going to be busy..plus the comeback concert…wow..the 9 members are gg in all out^^ SNSD fighting!!^^ supporting you all the way✊✊
OMG! The girls are going to be so busy!
New Album in October!
October 12 Singapore Concert
October 19 SMtown Beijing
October 26 SMtown Tokyo
November 9 Hong Kong Concert
Woh!
The comeback in October is still a rumor.
There have been indications that there is more to it than just a rumor, but I find it a little hard to believe they would take on all of that and a Koren album release at the same time. An English Album with less live promotions, maybe.
I’m glad I’m going to the Singapore concert because by the time they get to the Hong Kong concert they will be stuffed!
@BunnyMECH the girls are known to be very VERY HARD WORKERS. they’ve work themselves to the bone even when they’re sick they still try to put 100% in what they’re doing. i’ve witness (not in person but on videos and reading fan accts) that back in 2011 when they did their 1st Japan tour plus making guest appearance on shows back and forth between Japan and S.K. and they even went to U.S. and even Paris, France for SMTOWN PARIS. after all that they announce The Boys album and the work just continue on. so yeah these ladies are use to the hardwork. we just have to pray and hope they be in good health and cheer them on since Sones gives them lots of energy.
pretty sure they’ll get that 100,000 seats full or close to that. either way it’s going to be a hot concert. hope Sones shows up and pink up the place for the girls.
thanks for update :)
