Following the June release of “LOVE&GIRLS”, this is 2013’s 2nd single from Girls’ Generation. The single will feature “GALAXY SUPERNOVA” as the track song, as well as a second track, “DO THE CATWALK”. Both will be original songs for Japan. “GALAXY SUPERNOVA” will also be used with a new commercial in Japan.

2nd Japan Tour DVD
Starting in February of 2013, with 20 performances in 7 cities, the second Japan tour that mobilized 200,000 people will be released. There will be four different versions: a DVD and Blu-ray version, both with a regular and limited edition. The limited editions will come with special footage content, a photobook pamphlet, and a special t-shirt.

While I’d love to see another Korean album from all nine members or TTS, or even the fabled English album, I’m still looking forward to this single and the glorious 2nd Japan tour in Blu-ray! I don’t think this single is in any way preventing what people are clamoring for, so let’s just appreciate what we’re being given and enjoy some new music from SNSD~
Surprising yet disappointing,I mean like everyone else I’m expecting for their English album or tts album, why another Japanese single? Just… A bit sad… But still, I will continue supporting our girls no matter what. GG FIGHTING!!

Does anyone know if the DVD/BluRay Discs are going to be region coded? If not, I’m putting down a pre order as soon as possible.
DVD is most likely region 2 coded, however Blu-ray should be region free. Even if the Blu-ray was region coded, when it comes to Blu format, the US (if that is where you’re from, which is what I’m assuming) and Japan share the same region code.
Anyone know why they keep releasing these stand alone Japanese singles and will they be included in a Album release at some stage?
I was expecting an English language album and another TTS album this year. I heard a rumor that the English language album had been delayed (again) until next year, are we going to get another Japanese album this year instead? I’m confused.
Well, it’s not like the English album was confirmed for this year. It was a rumor. I think SM likes to take things slowly, which is more good than bad, in my opinion.
Probably because they don’t have to release an English album when they make plenty releasing Japanese and Korean albums.
I think they are kind of waiting for Psy’s album to see which if any of his songs are a hit. They will only get 1 chance for SNSD to break into the US and if it’s a horrible failure it might even damage their status as the #1 girl group in Korea as with the Wonder Girls
It’s not just SNSD it’s 2NE1 also, it seems like they’re all trying to see someone provide a blueprint and go with it and the US isn’t a priority. SM for one knows how hard it is to even get airplay or any attention, given their experience with BOA
Unfortunately that is correct. We all want them to succeed, but even US girl-groups have an extremely hard time. Only going to get one chance, depending on the buzz, so it needs to give them the best chance possible.
Hopefully they are spending this time finding the best song. Pretty sure that will make the difference one way or the other.

SM isn’t very good with keeping promises. Who knows if and when the full Beep Beep MV will be out. Remember, Paparazzi was originally supposed to have 5 version out, but only 4 ever saw the light of day.
That’s because SM isn’t in charge of most of their Japan releases, Universal Music is.
