On July 18th, Hyoyeon and Yuri presented Lee Hyori with the “Icon of 20’s” award at the 2013 Mnet “20’s Choice Awards”. The “20’s Choice Awards” is an annual show which looks into the cultural trends of the year.
Hyoyeon and Yuri, who stunned in white and black dresses, were the final presenters of the night and appeared at the end of the show to introduce the “Icon of 20’s” award. Yuri described an icon as someone who is a trend leader, more than just someone popular who has become a star. Hyoyeon also jokingly states that the members of Girls’ Generation should work hard next year in order to be able to look at the “Icon of 20’s” award in their own hands.
