Update from July 28th:
On July 28th, Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Sunny were in attendance at the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Cincinnati Reds baseball game at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California to celebrate Korea Day. Before the festivities began, the girls posed for media photos, and Tiffany held a brief interview with the MC.
Taeyeon was up first, singing a beautiful version of the Korean national anthem. Afterwards, Tiffany gave a stunning performance of her rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner, the American national anthem, to the crowd. Sunny then came out to throw the ceremonial first pitch. Following Sunny’s fellow members Jessica and Tiffany’s infamous pitches, the pressure was definitely on to throw a better one.
After Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Sunny’s performances, the three members posed for pictures with Los Angeles’s Ryu Hyunjin and Cincinnati’s Choo Shinsoo, both of whom are Korean baseball players in the United States.
Check out photos and videos from the game below or visit Soshified’s Photos Section for more pictures from the event.

OMFG OMFG I LIVE IN CINCINNATI! I MUST GO TO THIS!! YAYYYY!
The boy got flamed because of the outfit he had on, which everyone assumed he was mexican singing an american song. I think the ladies will be ok.
Too bad I live in the middle of the country. I’l never be able to see them when they come. I’ll find the vids though. I’m sure someone will put them on youtube. I hope I can trust other sones to support the girls so they will know that they are loved by many people here in the US.
I heard a come back rumor for TTS. this can be a promotional event for them, but Honestly i hope to see Jessica there as well.
Soooooo, who’s planning on going to this game? Since I figured it’ll be great if we can get some seats before the majority of them are taken if it’s gonna be like the last time Tiffany came to the Dodgers game :P
I know the girls are professionals and they’re able to do what they’ve been tasked (most often, if not always, at their best), but this is something quite unnerving. I’m honestly rooting for them to sing the Korean National Anthem, or maybe it’s just that feeling of protectiveness with the girls. If they do sing the US National Anthem, then I hope they prepare well. Like really well, so as to silence any haters, racists or anyone who’s going to blow things out of proportion. Then again, that’s highly inevitable. I hope that SM’s ready for anything after this. The girls may be signed under them, but they’ll have to be very careful with these things. Upsetting a nation over these matters is like poking a beehive with a stick. Poke lightly, and it won’t fall. Harder, and it falls, causing all the bees to run after whoever’s responsible, mercilessly and relentlessly.
I may be over-thinking this but for those SONEs who are available, please support the girls. I do wish them all the best of luck and hope they sing well. Whatever happens though, I’ll still be a fan.
I guess it’s safe to say that 2 of those members will be Sica and Fany. I guess the 3rd could be either Taeyeon or Seohyun because they both sing really well and can speak English clearly. I just hope they don’t screw up the lyrics. SNSD FIGHTING!
Guys, they going to sing the Korean National Anthem. Because, July 28 is the Korean Day.
I’d be surprised if they don’t sing the American National Anthem or sing both. I think there would be quite a negative response if they only sang the Korean National Anthem before the game.
I just found an article on Mnet that said that at least three members would be there but not all nine. My guess is that they will have the five lead singers, Taeyeon, Tiffany, Jessica, Seohyun and Sunny if they can.

I want to go
Actually, from what I’ve heard, they are singing Korean national anthem. I also heard that it was the Dodgers again who contacted SM about this event.
Too bad I live on the other side of the country. I really hope there is a huge sone section to support them in case anything bad happens like that Mexican kid who sang the anthem.
goodluck angels!
i’m rooting for your from FL.
don’t worry about the whatever feedback y’all are going to get, just go out there and do your best.
i hope many Sones turn up just for the girls. y’all don’t pass this chance up if you can go no matter if you’re not a fan of baseball. Sones gives Soshi energy, so the girls will be depending on your energies to guide them through.
what’s so amazing about this is that S.K. #1 Nation’s Girl Group gets to travel across the world to sing another countries national anthem. i don’t care which 3 Soshi are going to sing, my love goes with all of them.
another thing is that these girls are working on their English album and preparing to tackle the North American music scene. with the few special appearance by 1 or more members, it’s like little by little they’re making their way into the scene and already sort of setting a little pace in the mean time. get peeps to glimpse them a bit so when that huge important time comes, some peeps may remember who, what, where and when they saw a member of GG. anyway i’m happy and proud and i can’t wait to hear them singing.
thanks SSF for update ♥♥♥
Woah.. Soshi to sing US National Anthem ? Daebak.
It proves Soshi is global.
But only 3 members, who might it be ? I guess 2 of them are Tiff & Sica.
And the other one ? Taeyeon, Seohyun, Sunny ?
Yeah, can we get some clarification about which anthem they’ll be singing (Korean or American)? Or does the article not specify.
(Although I feel like either way there’s gonna be nasty comments…)
Wow~♥
GUYS. Do you really think they would go to America JUST to sing the National Anthem at a baseball game? I’m telling you, they have something planned!
I don’t know about this because, I might afraid they will get a lot of hates from americans. Like the 11-years old boy with Mexican heritage, I don’t want them to be like him. I respect for the boy. I might not watch them sing because, I don’t want to watch them get booed.
I’m afraid too…. Hope our girls won’t get hate for doing what their company tells them to do. :( all the international sones should be there to support the girls, they might feel much better to get energy from u guys… Too bad I’m not in the states anymore :(
Probably TaeJeTi will make an appearance
I’ll try to make the trip up there from San Diego. Yes, I’m a Dodgers fan and I don’t like the Padres.
I will be back from Los Angeles to my hometown on July 10th. TT________________TT
People will have an absolute fit if a non-American sings the US National Anthem. For that reason, I think it will be Tiffany, Jessica, and Sunny who sing it. As mentioned already, an 11 year old Mexican-American boy got tore apart on Twitter by a bunch of ignorants when he sang the anthem recently at the Miami Heat game.
I wouldn’t say he got “tore apart”. There were a few racist morons with some tweets. I think it was blown out of proportion.
wow…
I’m scared. Some of my fellow Americans are quite racist. Recently, an 11-year-old American boy with Mexican heritage sang the national anthem at an NBA game and received a lot of hate. Also, our anthem is VERY difficult to sing and the lyrics are not easy to memorize. Many singers who lived their entire life in the States have messed up the lyrics. SONES need to make a huge appearance at this game to support!
I thought they were singing Korean national anthem. ?
What wouldn’t I give to attend that game.
Great news anyway.
DAMMMMMMITTTTT I CAN’T GO CAUSE OF COLLEGE T_____T ughghgifhilaavnsokc three members! I really kind of wish it’ll be TTS…
You must go to support!
