Girls’ Generation’s Sunny will be releasing a new OST track, entitled “The 2nd Drawer”, for MBC’s Wednesday/Thursday drama, “The Queen’s Classroom”. The series centers around the conflicts and struggles between sixth grade female teacher Ma Yeojin, played by Ko Hyunjung, and her various students. “The 2nd Drawer” will express in great detail the feelings of one of the main students, Shim Hana, played by child-actress Kim Hyang-Gi. The ballad consists of a lyrical melody that harmonizes well with Sunny’s vocal color and style.
Sunny’s “The 2nd Drawer” will release today, June 13th, at 12:00 PM KST. The song will be available for download from various online music sites.

I love her voice, she really is overrated, she’s one of the best singers of SNSD and she adapts her voice to different kind of melodies and notes, moreover, she’s got one of the bests voices when singing live (I’d say only Teayeon’s is clearer) while the other ones seem to be forcing theirs.
I’m a sone to heart, I love them all, but I think Sunny needs to be given more credit, because she’s totally worth it.

It’s very nice to hear Sunny flex her pipes a bit more than usual. This song is slow, melodic, and tranquil. A perfect fit for an OST. Although, I was half expecting it to break into a hyper fast dance track since this is Sunny were dealing with. Haha! Sunny Fighting!
I love all of the members equally but she gets overshadowed by Taeyeon, Tiffany, Jessica, and Seohyun because all 4 of their voices are amazing but Sunny’s voice is amazing! And IMO Sunny’s voice is one of the most distinguishable voice among all of the members along with Taeyeon and Jessica :) I can recognize them all now but to someone who is just going to start to listen to SNSD songs her voice is probably going to be very easy to recognize.
I agree! Sunny is one of the most under rated members. In the SNSD’s Post-IGAB Era, it seems Tiffany is now the leader. TIffany starts almost every track on the IGAB album. I really want Taeyeon to be more assertive and fight for the others to get more vocal time in their songs.
