Girls-Generation

After four rounds of voting, Girls’ Generation beat out artists such as Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and the Backstreet Boys to be declared to have the “Most Anticipated Album of 2013” on a recent poll run by RyanSeacrest.com.

The website, which serves both as the homepage and the official entertainment news site of American Idol host Ryan Seacrest, ran the poll over the course of the month of February, initially fielding a pool of over 30 well-known artists.

After several rounds of voting, Girls’ Generation made it into the final round, where the ultimate tally of votes had the girls coming in with 47%, a comfortable margin over the 36% of runner-up David Archuleta. The results show just how excited everyone is for the girls’ upcoming American album, which was first teased in a TIME Magazine article in January.
