Hello again everyone, this is SeraphKY and welcome to the staff portion of Soshified Spotlight. I’m going to change it up a bit, so instead of the regular questionnaire format, I held a live interview with FrozenArctic, otherwise known as DJ Giggles on Soshified. Like I mentioned in the regular member portion, if anyone has any questions or suggestions for what they would like to see in future editions, feel free to leave it in the comments and I’ll try to add it in.
FrozenArctic is a female (just like she mentions in the interview) SONE from Canada who loves gaming with her friends online so she have to use the best gaming headset pc for it, but she especially loves her fellow DJs (although they spend a lot of time making fun of each other). She also claims that her favorite member is Yuri, but she actually spends more time swooning over every other member, so we’ll never know if Yuri is truly her bias. But instead of spoiling the entire interview, please take a listen below.
If people like this format, then please let me know, and I’ll try expanding it to include interviews for regular members as well. Also, a big thanks to FrozenArctic for letting me use her as a guinea pig in this new edition of Soshified Spotlight. If you missed it, then here’s the link to Part 1.
Also, you can submit nominations for future Soshified Spotlights if you’d like to participate or if you’d like to get to know a fellow member better. Instructions on how to do so can be viewed at the Soshified Spotlight Solicitation announcement.

I liked it but…I think audio and a written format will be more appreciated ^^
Owa…a live interview. I liked it. Jjang~~
Like the format! But SeraphKY, you were a bit too close to the mic. It doesnt sound nice when we can hear your saliva. >.<
But yeah other than that great job! :)
It helps to learn their personality as well.
good
I don’t intend this to be mean, but rather constructive criticism for this column. I actually prefer the written format of these interviews for several reasons. Most importantly I feel it gives the person being interviewed more time to give better responses to the questions being asked. It eliminates the periods of dead air time when a person is thinking and prevents them from being put on the spot for a hasty reply. You can also omit all of the uses of “um…” and other unnecessary words or pauses. This leads into my second point, which is a matter of time. This interview was over 20 minutes long, and it never took me that long to read the previous interviews. I have a very busy schedule and I’m never able to finish everything I want to do in one day, so every opportunity to shorten my time spent on things like this is appreciated. I also had an issue with the recording. I’m not sure if anyone else shared my problem, but my audio kept freezing and I had to refresh my webpage and start over multiple times. I wasted a lot of time finding my place again and it made listening to the interview less enjoyable as a result.
While I do really enjoy hearing the person’s voice, I feel the cons outweigh the pros in this instance. Hopefully this feedback has been helpful for you, and I look forward to the next installment of the spotlight. ^_^
So, I don’t intend for this to sound mean, but rather as constructive criticism for this column. I actually prefer the written version of the interview for several reasons. First and foremost is a matter of time. This interview was more than 20 minutes long and it never took me that long to read the previous articles. I have an extremely busy schedule and I never have time to do everything that I want to in one day, so the less time spent on things like this the better. Secondly, I feel it gives the person being interviewed more time to think of good responses to the questions. It will help prevent people from being put on the spot and spend a lot of air time thinking and saying “um…” and such. I also had an issue with the recording itself. I’m not sure if this happened to anyone else, but the audio kept freezing and I had to refresh my webpage and start over multiple times. This made the listening a lot less enjoyable, because I had to find my place again each time.
While I do enjoy hearing the actual person’s voice, I think the cons outweigh the pros in this instance. So my vote would be to go back to the original format for the interviews. Hopefully this feedback was helpful, and I look forward to the next installment of the spotlight. ^_^
this was cool, but i think i like the written format more.
