On January 5th, Girls’ Generation made a successful return to “Show! Music Core”. Hosted by MCs Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun, “Show! Music Core” featured songs from many different artists and concluded with Girls’ Generation’s “Dancing Queen” and “I Got A Boy”. The members of Girls’ Generation continued to surprise fans with their varying outfits, donning colored sweaters and berets for “Dancing Queen” and new white, blue, and pink outfits for “I Got A Boy”.
Girls’ Generation’s next comeback stage will be tomorrow, January 6th, on SBS’s “Inkigayo” and will again feature “Dancing Queen” and “I Got A Boy”.

IGAB is a triple somersault with double twist: at first u only see a blur of movements, but once u can recognize the flow and the difficulty in that chaos the beauty shines. This is not a bubble-gum catchy song, is a REAL piece of pop art.
As an ajussi fan i cant be more proud of my little girls, they took a high risk and i forecast a high yield.
Watching Music Core on YouTube last night, it was quite clear that GG are the leaders and innovators in K-Pop, and everyone else are just followers and imitators.
I’m curious about the mix of mics used on Dancing Queen. Personal preference or just what was available at the broadcaster ? Loved both performances as the charisma increases with each additional show.

I wasn’t expecting this to happen, but … On the day of the MV release I thought that the song was strange (even though I liked the choreo). After their comeback special I thought that their live version was better than the MV/album recorded one. And now, after listening to other live perfs and few more times on my audio player I realised that I already love this song. Nothing seems to be out of place and the song actually flows. “I Got A Boy” is on its way to become one of my most favourite SoShi tracks.

These outfits for “Dancing Queen” were soooo “Girls’ Generation”-ish! (I mean their song from the 1st album). Another trololo moment :D

SNSD = STAY GIRLS! even though their styles are changing constantly the girls remain girls. this was an awesome comeback stage like all the rest of their comeback stages. i love especially their IGAB outfits. i’m so glad SM put them back in sneakers and put them in comfortable urban clothing for this concept. abs abs abs everywhere ♥♥♥
