TVB, a television broadcasting station in Hong Kong, recently celebrated its 45th anniversary. For one of the performances for its celebratory show, performers danced to a remixed version of “Oh!” with Cantonese lyrics. The song comes on at the 1:39:19 mark of the video. Girls’ Generation Members Show Off Their Winter Colors in New Lotte Department Store Advertisement
Lotte Department Store is reminding us that winter is quickly approaching by releasing a winter-themed advertisement featuring Girls’ Generation. In the ad, the girls are dressed in wintry hues of white, pink, and blue. They are all smiling brightly despite the cold winter weather, providing a picture-perfect image suitable for a holiday card.
Advertisements for “FLOWER POWER” and Girls’ Generation’s 2nd Japanese Album Appear on the Streets of Shibuya
To mark the releases of Girls’ Generation’s “FLOWER POWER” single on November 21st and upcoming release of Girls’ Generation’s second Japanese album, “Girls’ Generation II ~Girls & Peace~”, the streets of Shibuya have been filled with Girls’ Generation advertisements once again. A digital ad for “FLOWER POWER” played from the display of Tsutaya, a CD store (top). Also in Shibuya, a billboard advertising the November 28th release of “Girls’ Generation II ~Girls & Peace~” was displayed (bottom).
Jessica uploaded three photos and a message onto Girls’ Generation’s official website. The three photos were taken in front of the celebratory wreaths sent in by SONEs from Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore for the “Legally Blonde” musical. In her message, Jessica expressed her happiness about the support she received and thanked all her fans. nothing gets me more than the behind-the-scenes
photos or personal selcas that the girls take…i can’t
exactly put my finger on it, but it seems their eyes
are that much bigger in the personalized photos, and
i could stare into our girls eyes forever…sorry…day
dreaming…but i also like the message of jessica’s
personalized photos with the donations made by her
fans…she shows that she is aware of what they are
doing and very much appreciate it…a simple gesture
that will motivate fans to do even more in the future :-)
It sure was pretty amazing for the Vietnamese SONEs to do a special event for the girls. I know that they will be so happy to see Girls’ Generation for the very first time. It will be something to remember for the rest of their lives

the remix of flower power was pretty cool. I had to shake off the initial “ugh” when I heard “drunk” and “shawty” because that’s not something I equate with SNSD but once I got past that I was able to appreciate the time and effort that went into the remaking of the song. I applaud the efforts and hope that he has gotten the green lights in all areas if he wants to promote it for money.
And VietSONEs are AWESOME ! it must have taken a lot of work to get those letters so perfectly shaped but the result is worth it! I hope the girls can see those and share in the love of the fans!
