Girls’ Generation has just released the official music video for “FLOWER POWER”, along with the music video’s dance version. “FLOWER POWER” is the title track of Girls’ Generation’s latest Japanese single and will be released on November 21st.
The music video features the nine members in three different sets of outfits, including black and red outfits and cabin attendant uniforms, as they sing the song’s sexy lyrics and chorus.
“FLOWER POWER” will also be featured in Girls’ Generation’s second Japanese album, “Girls’ Generation II ~Girls & Peace~”, which will be released on November 28th. More details on Girls’ Generation’s second Japanese album can be found here.

I love the chorus to Flower Power and our girls all look stunning!
I wish the song was in Korean. My brain is having trouble computing the sounds coming out of their heads. My Korean vocab is microscopic but my heart is tuned to the sound of it now. It also serves to remind me just how freakin lucky the Japanese SONES are and how jealous I am of the amount of attention they receive.

I cannot stress how important the girls’ pronunciation is in this song especially in the chorus! It’s supposed to be daremo ga butterfly butta spider (everyone’s a spider pretending to be a butterfly), else it’s gonna be daremo ga butterfly buta spider (everyone’s a butterfly, pig, spider)!
Loving the song and the gimmicks that came along with it! Also the fact that Sunny played a bigger part in the PV this time, though it’s sad that it meant the rest of the girls will have lesser parts.
