Girls’ Generation – TTS has been nominated in three categories for the “2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards”. Girls’ Generation – TTS, a subunit formed earlier this year with Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun, has been nominated as “Best Global Female Group”, “Best Female Group”, and “Artist of the Year”.
Girls’ Generation – TTS’s “Twinkle” mini-album was released through various music sites on April 29th, and the physical album was released on May 2nd. The group proved to be a huge success, winning several awards on music shows. Their mini-album was able to rank fourth on the US iTunes album chart and second on the US iTunes pop album chart, both setting a record for the highest ranking by a Korean artist. They also released a music video for their title track “Twinkle”, which currently has 29 million views on YouTube. Girls’ Generation – TTS’s promotions ended on on SBS’s “Inkigayo” on June 3rd.
Taeyeon’s “Missing You Like Crazy” has also been nominated for “Best OST”. “Missing You Like Crazy” is part of the OST for the MBC drama “The King 2 Hearts” and was released on March 28th. Taeyeon delivered a powerful performance for her OST song on MBC’s “Show! Music Core” on April 28th.

How are we losing by such a margin in the “Best Global Group – Female” category? :( People should go vote and stop hoping that being part of a large fandom automatically means that others will do their job for them.
im voting for TTS ofc^^ its a little shocking how psy is losing in some categories, “best music video” imo should go to psy considering how successful his video gangnam style is, but when i look at his music video on youtube i dont really see any encouraging comments to vote just to “beat justin biber (with some unfunny insults)
