SM Entertainment Editors Receive Harsh Criticism

Video editors working within SM Entertainment have received criticism for a significant error in one of Girls’ Generation’s new videos. Industry experts described the error as “completely out of character” for SM Entertainment, which is known for high production values for their videos.

The error in question is related to an outtake from the filming of Girls’ Generation’s new Japanese song, “All My Love Is For You”. The outtake ended up being used in the final version of the MV for “All My Love Is For You” when it was supposed to be cut out and only used for behind-the-scenes videos. In the outtake, Sunny laughed when she was supposed to hold a serious expression. Her laughter caused a chain reaction among the other members who all joined her in laughing.

Rumors have surfaced that one of Girls’ Generation’s managers was standing behind the camera playfully yelling out childish words such as “poop” and “butt”, which sources claim was the reason for Sunny’s inability to hold in her laughter. Critics of SM Entertainment say that these rumors don’t diminish the fact that the editors failed to notice that they had put an outtake in the final MV by accident. SM Entertainment has thus far refused to comment on the matter.

Manager oppa: “Poopie! Butt! Pooooooop! Yes, I made her laugh!”
