Welcome to the September 2012 edition of Soshified Spotlight.

Just like every other month, we’re once again highlighting a regular member in Part 1, and a Soshified staff member in Part 2.

This month, we are featuring gosonyushidae in Part 1, and Kkabbekky in Part 2. gosonyushidae, or Go, is your typical high school student from the Philippines. As such, she is very busy with schoolwork and assignments, but of course she always finds the time to support and follow Girls’ Generation.

*****

What is your first name?

-Go. Some people here call me Go so let’s just stick with that.

How did you find out about Soshified and why did you decide to join?

-I really can’t remember how I found out about Soshified. The only thing I can remember is that I’m searching for Girls’ Generation’s official website then I saw one link that says Soshified. I decided to join because it looks like a good site.

How did you come up with your screen name?

-While I was filling out the form, I want a username that shows I support Girls’ Generation so I came up with gosnsd but the username was already taken so I decided to make it longer.

Where are you originally from, and where do you currently reside (city and country for both)?

-I’m originally from the Philippines.

If we were visiting you where you live for one day, where would you take us? Why are these places so significant?

-I’m a person who doesn’t go out much so I really don’t know a lot of places. Palawan’s Underground River is one of the most favorite.

Tell us a little about your life. What do you do full time and in your free time?

-I’m a high school student. During my free time, I go online to check the latest news about kpop and Girls’ Generation, watch Korean dramas, surf the net, find quotes online and sleep.

What’s the most interesting thing about you and/or that has ever happened to you?

– When I spazz, I unintentionally hit someone/something. I sometimes lightly and slap the back of my friends when I’m on my fangirl mode. :) My friends says that I dangerous when I spazz.

For people who are first meeting you (like most of us), how would you describe yourself?

-I’m a shy person at first but I’m a really talkative and friendly person. I get along easily with people who have the same interest as mine.

Tell us some things that most people don’t know about you that you think they should.

-I have Chinese blood…

Is there anything big in your life that you’re working on? (This can be related to school, career, hobbies, family, friends, etc.)

-Yes. It’s confidential so I can’t talk about it.

What are your interests outside of Girls’ Generation?

-Aside from Girl’s Generation, I’m also a fan of other kpop groups such as Infinite and Sistar. I also want to be a psychologist someday.

How did you first become a fan of Girls’ Generation?

-I became a fan when they are promoting Run Devil Run. I first saw them when they are promoting Gee but they really didn’t impress me that much so I ignored them. Then I saw that they released Run Devil Run. I watched the music video and I was impressed so I decided that I want to know more about them. I watched every music video, performance and their shows.

Who is your favorite member and why?

Taeyeon. At first my reason was because she’s cute and she has great vocals. But when I got to know the girls more, my reason changed. Taeyeon’s leadership skill is really amazing.

What is your favorite Girls’ Generation song and MV and why?

-My favorite will always be RDR. The song made me into a SONE so it’s really special. If RDR didn’t exist, I wouldn’t know these nine amazing girls.

What is your favorite Girls’ Generation moment and why?

-Every Girls’ Generation moment is special to me. Seeing the girls performing, joking around, and doing many other things is really special.

How has Girls’ Generation impacted your life, in specific areas or even as a whole?

-Girls’ Generation really made a big impact on my life. Before, I was really a weird, quite and nervous person. Back then I think I look like a weak person when I’m alone but after I knew Girls’ Generation, everything changed. I became more confident, less weird and sometimes talkative. Girls’ Generation also made me realize what I want to do in the future.

What do you like most about Soshified, and why? Any section in particular you’re attracted to?

-I really like the fast updates of Soshified. It’s really a good home for Sones.
