The music producer of CBS’s popular talk show, “Late Show with David Letterman”, spoke highly of Girls’ Generation.
SM Entertainment revealed part of the e-mail received from the music producer of “Late Show with David Letterman”, Sheryl Zelikson, confirming Girls’ Generation’s appearance on the show. According to the e-mail, Sheryl Zelikson said, “We think Girls’ Generation is a very exciting and distinctive group therefore we decided to invite them to the show. We’re really happy that they have agreed to appear on our show.”
Girls’ Generation is scheduled to appear on the “Late Show with David Letterman” on the 31st of January, and they will be performing the title track of their US maxi single, “The Boys”. The English and Korean versions of the song were released worldwide in October last year, while the US maxi single was released digitally in December and physically this month.
Besides attending the “Late Show with David Letterman”, Girls’ Generation will also be making an appearance on ABC’s morning talk show, “LIVE! with Kelly” on the 1st of February together with famous popstar, Jennifer Lopez. Also, as Jessica and Tiffany are fluent English speakers, the girls will not be having any translators on the show with them.

You can check what channel it will be on by looking at you TV guide. I don’t know if some channels are different but this should help somewhat.
For me (U-Verse), the channels are 1004 and 1010 respectively.
Late Show with David Letterman – On CBS —- Airing on the 31st at 11:30pm EST.
Live! with Kelly – On ABC —- Airing on the 1st at 9:00am EST.

David Letterman program is on CBS at 11:35pm and Live with Kelly program is on ABC at 9:00am. I have Direct TV and live in Miami, FL so for me the channels are 4 & 10. Check your cable listing to see what’s CBS & ABC on yours. :)

They’re right saying Girls’ Generation is a distinctive group but to us, we know how they are just a group of 9 dorky girls. Dorky ladies actually, i think we have to start calling them that since they’re getting older XD

Of course they’d agree to it. keke.. This is the time to get themselves known to more people in the US especially. Though I’ve never watch The Letterman, I think this is big a step for the girls.
I’ve never watch “LIVE! with Kelly” either. But they’ll be appearing with J.Lo? Woott~ Bet the girls are spazzing about meeting with J.Lo too. kekeke I do hope all of them are present on both shows. Please don’t let any of them absent just because of other filming. This is very big thing, they should be there as nine.

i bought a $300 dollar tv for my dorms today just for these two events! i’d rather watch them live in NY but that’s just a bit too much sadly.. if i could i’d be there to support everything they do.

Though my concerns: I’m actually worried that no translators are going to be there as might end up being another JeTi interview with probably a few occasions of SooYoung talking like in the Elvis Duran show interview. I really thought SME do all this for them. So i was scared if others fan-club will bash SNSD because SME being biased toward them but chincha!! TWICE! I was shocked twice because of SNSD. 1st–Interscope invited them to become their artist. And 2nd–This news. OMG! I thought SME trying their hard to promote by asking TV show in US to promote them but WOW!! The PD’s himself invited them! Hohoho…SNSD you are the BEST!! GOD BLESS THEM!! 2012 also SNSD’s year! Hope Jessica will join them. I was wondering. What if SooYoung and Yuri start their filming too? And Yoona continue her filming too. What happened with SNSD?? 4 of their members will not(sometime) have time to attend any show together. OMG~~~
