As Soshified reported earlier, Girls’ Generation is set to release their US digital maxi-single on December 20th. However, SM dropped a surprise on fans on the 13th of December by announcing that Girls’ Generation will be releasing another “Special Album” on the 17th of January, 2012.
According to the website, the “Special Album” will feature all the various remixes of “The Boys” from the maxi-single, and it will also contain a few songs from the third Korean album.
The maxi-single will also feature hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg.
December has definitely become a month for SONEs to spend, following the announcement of Girls’ Generation’s repacked version of “The Boys”, the first Japan Official Photobook: Holiday, as well as the repacked version of the self-titled first Japanese album.

I think that associating with Snoop Dog is a mistake for SNSD. He doesn’t fit well with their image and I feel would cause more harm than good by collaborating with other artists like him.

I would love it if they can also collaborate with timbaland in a song or two. The beat off the song would be amazing.. hehe anyways it’s a good thing that they can do some collaboration with other artist from the US. ^_^ soshi is just really jjang!! Soshi all the way!! FIGHTING!!
