Girls’ Generation released their third album “The Boys” today along with a music video for the English version of the title track.  “The Boys” has already been gaining a lot of attention in the US.

Radio host and TV personality, Ryan Seacrest, who hosts a nationally syndicated radio show with millions of listeners, On Air With Ryan, featured the girls and their new song on his website as a top story.  As Jen Erza writes for their article, “This South Korean girl group by the name of Girls’ Generation released an English version of their latest music video “The Boys” that we absolutely love! It’s a foot-stomping, head-crackin’, and girl-powered track sung by nine girls that everyone needs to hear.”

Also, at the time of this article, the song has soared into the top 100 songs on iTunes at #77, and is currently at #33 on the top Pop Songs on iTunes.

As expected, Girls’ Generation recorded an all-kill on the Korean charts with “The Boys” taking #1 on every real-time chart.  As if an all-kill weren’t enough, the rest of “The Boys” album’s songs were highly ranked as well.  On Soribada, the first three spots were Girls’ Generation with a total of seven songs in the top ten.  Olleh Music had nine out of the top ten as Girls’ Generation songs.  Bugs saw all top ten spots go to Girls’ Generation.

It seems all eyes are on Girls’ Generation now, and the girls will be able to showcase their talents in the US this weekend at SMTOWN Live in New York at Madison Square Garden.

You can purchase “The Boys” single on iTunes and Amazon.  If you haven’t ordered the album already, you can order at YesAsia(without poster) and with poster.  Also, Soshified is organizing a bulk order with Korean fansites, so check that out in this thread.
