Gaining attention for their worldwide comeback, Girls’ Generation will release their album in the U.S. through the world leading Universal Music Group.

Revealed by Girls’ Generation’s company on the 12th, Girls’ Generation will release a maxi single, “The Boys”, in November through Interscope Records, a label under Universal Music Group whose current artists include Lady Gaga, Eminem, and the Black Eyed Peas.

Together with Universal Music Group, “The Boys” will be released not only in the U.S., but in Europe, South America, and all over the world.

To further strengthen the marketing of their worldwide release, Girls’ Generation altered their schedule and have finalized it to release “The Boys” on the 19th. On October 19th, “The Boys” will be released on iTunes all over the world. The music video for “The Boys” will also premiere on the 19th on SM’s official YouTube channel and Facebook page and their 3rd album will be released in Korea on the 19th as well, expecting it to be a so-called “Girls’ Generation day”.

Meanwhile, to kick off their activities for the worldwide release of “The Boys” on the 19th, Girls’ Generation will make their comeback on KBS Music Bank on October 21st.
