On October 27th, Girls’ Generation made their first appearance on Mnet’s MCountdown in three years. The girls were up against Secret and Kim Hyun Joong for the top spot, and recorded their first win with “The Boys”!
Sooyoung also came out as MC this week. Many people were impressed and entertained by her style and cute actions as MC for the music show.
Once the results were shown that Girls’ Generation won, “SNSD WON” instantly became a worldwide trending topic on Twitter. SM and MNET weren’t on good terms.
so basically SM boycotted MNET and didn’t let any of their stars perform, make appearances, etc. related to mnet.
but i think beginning of this year or end of last year, or sometime recent. MNET and SM made up so SM is starting to put their celebrities on shows by mnet.
That’s what our girls are all about. This is just the beginning.
